Pork chops with potatoes


Beat the chops lightly with a meat hammer, salt and pepper to taste. Put the oil and the 4 chops in a pan and leave them until they are browned on both sides, then take them out on a plate and cover them. In the remaining fat. (if the chops have left too much, take them out of it) put the chopped bell pepper 2 cm square, let it brown for 2-3 minutes, then add the clean onion, cut into scales and leave for another 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.

We sauté the potatoes, wash them and cut them into cubes, then add them over the onion and pepper. Leave everything on the fire for 2-3 min. stirring frequently so as not to stick the potatoes, then add 150 ml of water, mix well, season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil.

In a heat-resistant bowl (which we can put in the oven) put the potatoes, chops on top, add about 150 ml of water to cover the potatoes, cover the bowl with a lid or aluminum foil and put it in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for an hour or until the potatoes are done.

When the potatoes are almost cooked, remove the lid or foil and leave until they are ready, and the meat has turned brown on top.
