Avocado is consumed mainly as a dish and less as a dessert. You can prepare sandwiches (mashed, spread on bread like butter), salads (combined with stewed vegetables, chicken, shellfish), garnishes, sauces or soups.

I made a quick salad and ate breakfast on toast.

  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 large tablespoons of Delaco cream cheese
  • a teaspoon of finely chopped red onion
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • salt

RECIPE PREPARATION Avocado salad with cream cheese:

I peeled the avocado and then I passed it with a fork, until it became a fine paste, then I sprinkled it with lemon juice. I cut the tomatoes into cubes and mixed them with the other ingredients, I added salt to taste.

The bread was toasted and when it cooled a little I served it with avocado paste.


  • 1 rectangular puff pastry dough (275 g)
  • 200 g Philadelphia type cream cheese
  • 230 g avocado pulp (2 small fruits)
  • juice from half a lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • black sesame seeds and green dill for decoration

3 cherry tomatoes or 1 large tomato

Method of preparation

Sprinkle slices of bread with olive oil and fry in a pan or oven until golden brown.
