  • 375 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes


Separate eggs. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt. In another bowl, mix the sugar with the butter until creamy. Then add the yolks one by one. Then add flour mixed with baking powder, alternating with milk. I mixed everything very well. Then add the egg whites. Mix lightly with a wooden spoon. We divide the composition in two. In one we add cocoa. Pour the cocoa-free dough in the shape of a cake lined with baking paper. Then pour over the cocoa dough. Put the cake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees C for 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 180 degrees C and bake for another 30 minutes. We test the toothpicks. It's very fluffy. Ideal with a cup of milk.
