Dessert cake with grated dough


It took:

In a bowl, I mixed the soft margarine with the sugar, then I added the yolks, I homogenized, then I added the whole egg, at the end, I added 300 g of flour mixed with baking powder. I kneaded a non-stick dough, if necessary, add more flour. I divided the dough into two balls (I weighed it and I had 610 g of dough, a 350 g ball and the rest of the ball that is put in the freezer). Knead the smaller ball with 1 tablespoon of flour, put it in a bag and put it in the freezer. I used a ceramic tray that I lined with baking paper (so I can take it out of the tray more easily), dimensions 28/18 cm, I spread the big ball of dough in the tray and sprinkled approx. 30 g ground walnuts.

Filling:

I mixed the egg whites with a pinch of salt well, then I added the powdered sugar and I mixed until I obtained a firm meringue. I added ground walnuts and jam and mixed.

I put this filling in the tray, over the dough and the walnut and I leveled it, then I took the dough out of the freezer and put it on the large grater, enough to cover the entire surface of the tray. I put the tray in the oven, the preheated oven at 180 degrees C, approx. 40-45 min, until it starts to brown nicely on top. Normally, it is left to cool and then portioned, you won't see anything like that on me, I cut a corner, because I fainted with lust, it smelled too good ....
