Rina's 90 recipes, Recipes from all over the world
130 gr green lentils
2-3 strands of green onions
3-4 garlic cloves
2-3 tablespoons dill and chopped parsley
40 gr pesmet
For the tomato sauce:
600 gr tomatoes
salt, marjoram, oregano, basil, thyme, hot paprika
The lentils are soaked for a few hours then boiled for 30 minutes, then drained through a sieve and mixed with chopped greens, breadcrumbs and spices. Knead well, if necessary you can add 2-3 tablespoons of water in which the lentils were boiled. Form dumplings that are shaped with 2 tablespoons. (The composition is pressed between the 2 tablespoons, in a circular motion). Place the formed meatballs on the baking sheet and keep in the oven for 30 minutes (on both sides). The tomatoes are notched with the knife (an X) on the opposite side of the tail and are given on the large grater starting with the notched side. The shell will remain in the hand. Put the pasta to boil for 4-5 minutes adding the spices (if it is easier for you, you can use tomatoes in ready-made broth). When serving, pour the sauce over the meatballs.

Method of preparation
Start by preparing the meatballs: minced pork is mixed with onion (peeled, washed and chopped), garlic (cleaned, washed and ground), a little salt, a little freshly ground pepper, a little dried thyme, egg and flour.
With wet hands, form the meatballs, put them in breadcrumbs and then fry them in oil. Remove on an absorbent napkin.
Bake the kapia peppers on the stove flame (or in the oven) and put them in a pan, sprinkling coarse salt over them. Cover the pan with a lid and let the peppers soak for about 10 minutes, then they can be cleaned of skin and seeds.
While the peppers are soaking, clean the onions, wash, chop and fry in a wok with 100 ml of oil, sprinkling a little salt and a little freshly ground pepper over them.
Peeled peppers are cut into thick strips and cut.
Over the hardened onions put the peppers, meatballs, tomato juice, water, bay leaf, basil leaves, paprika, a little dried marjoram, a little dried basil and a little dried oregano. Let everything boil until the sauce drops a little. Place the meatballs on the edge of the wok and place the four eggs. Sprinkle salt on them and cover the wok with a lid. Leave on low heat until eggs are cooked to preference, soft or hard. Add the chopped green parsley at the end.

The restaurant at home
Ever since she saw the animated film "Lady and the Tramp", my little one has been asking me for spaghetti with meatballs and sauce like in the movie. Seriously, how do I know how Toni did them in the movie? It was certain that I had to make something resembling the delicious food that the two dogs were serving on a romantic evening. That's how it turned out, it was served with love and lust by my little one, directly with my hand, because that's how she found it funny (and because I didn't allow her to put her mouth directly in the bowl, that's what she wanted to do initially).
We need :
- 300 g spaghetti, 3 l water, 1 tablespoon salt
- pt. meatballs: 200 g minced meat, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs, 1/4 onion, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 teaspoon grated paprika, salt, pepper
- pt. sauce: 1 tomato, 250 ml tomato sauce, 1 clove of garlic, 1/4 onion, 1 teaspoon dried basil, salt, pepper
- Parmesan race
- portions: 3
We prepare like this:
Spaghetti is boiled in salted water, respecting the time on the package.
For the meatballs, chop the onion and finely chopped garlic, add to the minced meat, add the spices, breadcrumbs and about half of the beaten egg. Homogenize and form small meatballs, about the size of a cherry. Fry in hot oil or in the oven, sprinkled with a little oil, for a more "light" version.
Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into small pieces. Stir in the blender together with the chopped garlic and onion. Add the tomato sauce, basil, salt and pepper and mix. Put the sauce obtained in a pan, put it to boil. When it has dropped a little, add the previously fried meatballs and let it boil.
The spaghetti drains out of the water. Pour the meatball sauce over them, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
