Dessert strawberry shortcake


Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Beat the egg whites with the mixer, hard foam, then add the sugar and beat again until it becomes shiny and will make spikes.

Mix the yolks with the oil and vanilla essence until it becomes a cream, then pour a little over the egg whites; with a spatula, mix slowly, from top to bottom. Add the flour, mixing with movements from top to bottom, so that it is incorporated without lumps.

The resulting composition is placed in a tray (20/30 cm) lined with baking paper, then put strawberries cut into small or large pieces and put on top.

Place the tray in the oven and bake until the cake passes the toothpick test and browns slightly on top.
