Meanwhile, prepare the sauces. Hot, dried peppers are cleaned of seeds and boiled until well hydrated. Drain and place in a blender container with the remaining finely chopped onion. Add salt, a little apple cider vinegar and tomato sauce and turn everything into a spicy but very tasty sauce.

For the second sauce, clean the avocado and pass it in a blender with a lot of lime juice. From the pineapple, cut coarse slices that are pulled into the pan until well caramelized.

Sprinkle the sticks with apple cider vinegar, oil and sprinkle with oregano. Lightly brown in the oven. Place the meat and caramelized pineapple slices over the glues, and for extra freshness, add radish slices and cactus leaves, plus the previously prepared sauces.

The butter makes the glues soft and prevents them from drying out. Another advantage of this recipe is that we do not have to knead the dough very much. A few minutes for the dough to be homogeneous are enough. The dough should then be left to rest for at least 30 minutes, also to be easy to spread. Then take balls from the dough and spread them as thin as possible. A thin twister will help you a lot for this operation. With it you will spread the glues much easier.

To give them a perfectly round shape, I used a plate with the same diameter as the pan in which I baked the glues. It's much easier and the glues all come out the same. To keep the sticks fresh for longer, wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and store them at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Use these shaorma sticks for whatever you want, but a recipe will soon follow shaorma with chicken.

How to prepare shaorma with chicken and low calories

  1. Stir in a large bowl 2 cloves of garlic , a quarter cup of yogurt , 1 tablespoon lemon juice , 1 teaspoon pepper , 1 teaspoon salt , 2 teaspoons coriander , 2 teaspoons cumin and ½ teaspoon turmeric.

  6. Cut into small pieces 3 large lettuce leaves , 6 fresh mint leaves and 2 green onions .
  7. Cut into small pieces 1 red and chop 1 clove of garlic .
  8. Mix the greens in a bowl ½ cup of natural yogurt , 1 tablespoon lemon juice , tomato, garlic and a little salt .
  9. Spread 3 sticks and divide the chicken breast strips evenly. Cover the chicken from the sticks with the sauce prepared in step 7.

Chef's tips for shaorma with chicken and low calories

  • How do you know when chicken breast is just right to add to shaorma? You will notice that it has turned brown on the edges.
