Roll with sweet cheese and chocolate
Rolls are always the fastest alternative when we want to make something sweet for our loved ones. This cheese roll is faster than any and does not require much work. Everyone likes sweet cheese, and I'm not talking about chocolate. That being said, I invite you to prepare it too. :)
- Countertop ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- a knife tip baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- Cheese filling:
- 500 g of fresh cottage cheese
- two eggs
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- a spoonful of bourbon vanilla
- a tablespoon of cream
- raisins and grated citrus peel
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Sweet cheese and chocolate roll:
Prepare the cheese filling in a large bowl, mixing all the ingredients at once. Mix the composition until you get a thick cream cheese.
In two other large vessels, separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with the sugar until it dissolves. Add flour, baking powder and cocoa, then mix until smooth.
Sprinkle the salt powder over the egg whites and mix until you get a hard foam. Pour the foam over the cocoa composition. Because the difference in consistency is quite large, you will incorporate the egg white with a whisk or a silicone spatula.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put baking paper in its tray. Spread the cheese filling evenly, sprinkle with raisins and grated citrus peel.
Over the cheese you will spread the composition for the countertop. Leave the tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
After baking, turn the top over on a clean towel, then roll.
Tighten the ends of the towel and let the roll cool.
For the icing I used 150 g dark chocolate and 50 g white chocolate. I melted each type of chocolate on a bain marie, then depending on the amount of chocolate I added butter and whipped cream (about a tablespoon of whipped cream and a teaspoon of butter per 100 grams of chocolate). I glazed, then I put the roll in the cold.
