Martyrs of Muntenia
Made on time, posted late. Very good. Every time I wonder why I only do them once a year.
- 400g martyrs bought
- 200g old
- 4 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 1 vial esenta rom
- grated peel of 2 lemons
- 4 liters of water
- ground walnut
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Mountain martyrs:
Bring water to a boil with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
When the water boils, add the martyrs and boil for 10-15 minutes.
Add sugar (to taste), vanilla sugar and lemon peel and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Mix 1 tablespoon of flour with water and pour into the blade through a sieve so that any lumps do not fall.
Taste the sugar and flavors, bring to a boil and it's ready.
Serve hot or cold and put walnuts and cinnamon in the bowl, as many as he wants and likes.
